Geological Summary
Cataclastic, foliated diorite is intruded by granodiorite of the M. Cretaceous Cassiar Batholith. Both rock types are fractured, sheared, faulted and cut by quartz veins, quartz porphyry dykes and Tertiary basalt dykes. The fracture-filling quartz veins contain pyrite, galena, sphalerite, bismuthinite, minor chalcopyrite, covellite, molybdenite and others.
