Geological Summary
Conglomerates, sandstones and siltstones of the Hazelton Group (L.-M. Jurassic) are unconformably overlain by sedimentary rocks of the Bowser Lake Group (M-U. Jurassic). Andesitic dykes intrude only the Hazelton rocks. The structure is a broad syncline plunging moderately south. There are six areas of mineralization. Pyrite, galena, sphalerite, tetrahedrite and/or chalcopyrite occur in quartz-carbonate veins, schistose wall rocks and breccias.
