| Geological Summary |
Triassic and older limestone and fine-grained sediments now altered to phyllite are intruded by rocks of the Coast Crystalline Complex. Quartz veins and extensive skarn zone are common. Minor mineralization consists of galena-quartz float, malachite on limestone, pyrite, arsenopyrite and stibnite in quartz-carbonate zones-gossans.
