Geological Summary

Overburden is extensive on the property. Regional mapping indicates that the underlying rocks are pyroclastics and sediments (Jurassic) that are intruded by granitoid stocks. Basalts (Miocene) overlie the older rocks. A rusty-weathering alteration zone. Silicification with ankeritic carbonate and fine pyrite are exposed in a road cut.
