Andesitic tuffs, minor intercalated greywacke and calcareous argillite, and hornblende-feldspar porphyry flow rocks of the Takla Group (Upper Triassic) are intruded by porphyritic diorite and monzonite of the Kliyul Creek Pluton (Early Cretaceous). Disseminated and stringer sulphides and minor lenses of massive magnetite occur within the Takla rocks.
