Geological Summary

The Gambier Group of rocks (Early Cretaceous) include rhyolite tuff to lapilli tuff, variable volcaniclastics, andesite and rhyolite dykes and diorite of unknown affinity. Barite, sphalerite and galena with silver values occur near the top of the rhyolite tuff.
