Geological Summary
The Aldridge turbidites and argillite are overlain by Creston siltstone and quartzites, and Kitchener silty dolomites. The Kitchener rocks are unconformably overlain by dolomitic sandstone conglomerate and shale of the Burnais Formation (Devonian). A metadiorite dyke occupies the Horseshow Creek Fault. Pyrite and chalcopyrite with lead, zinc, silver and gold occur in lode-type veins at five locations.
