Metasedimentary rocks of the Cache Creek Group are intruded by talc-bearing ultramafic (Pennsylvanian-Permian) rocks and an alaskite stock (Cretaceous). Samples taken from a quartz vein contain arsenopyrite, galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite and values in tin, zinc, silver and trace gold.
