Geological Summary
The underlying rocks are predominantly quartzite and argillite of the Purcell Supergroup (Precambrian), and strata of Paleozoic age. Several exposures of silver-lead and copper-silver-gold mineralization are associated with quartz-siderite fissure veins in the Precambrian rocks, mainly the Aldridge Formation.
