An early Tertiary outlier of porphyritic andesite, tuffs and sedimentary rocks is block-faulted and altered. Areas of silicification, carbonate veining and pyritization are associated with northeasterly trending zone of shearing and fracturing. Rocks exposed in a road cut contain values of gold and silver.
