Geological Summary |
Mafic volcanic rocks form the core of an overturned, northerly plunging anticline. These rocks are overlain by a chert band, argillite and intercalated tuff. This volcanic-sedimentary rock sequence is intruded by dykes striking north and northeast. Pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and minor sphalerite occur in the volcanics.
