Geological Summary
Massive mafic pyroclastic rocks and andesite porphyry are intruded by quartz monzonite (Upper Cretaceous). Gossanous zones in the volcanics appear to be in shear zones. Mineralization in the gossanous zones varies from fine disseminations to stockworks containing pyrite and arsenopyrite with lesser amounts of chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, galena and sphalerite. Near the gossans geochemistry showed anomalous values in gold, silver, copper, zinc and arsenic.
