Geological Summary |
Dark grey phyllite, sandstone-quartzite and white quartzite boulder conglomerate of the Windermere Horsethief Creek series are cut by a black basalt dyke dipping 75 degrees northwest. The general structure is a northerly trending anticline cut by north-northwesterly trending faults, joints and quartz veins. The quartz veins are mineralized with galena and sphalerite.
