Geological Summary
Pyroxinites (Jurassic?) are intruded by diorite of the Nelson Batholith (Cretaceous). These rocks are overlain by Tertiary and younger sandstones, shales and volcanic rocks of the Penticton Group. Chalcopyrite and minor native copper occur in the diorite.
