Geological Summary |
The stratigraphy consists of volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Telkwa Formation (Lower Jurassic), the Laberge Group (Lower Jurassic), and the Toodoggone volcanic rocks (Lower-Middle Jurassic). The rocks are folded and cut by faults. Open spaces formed in a northeasterly trending fracture system are generally filled with quartz-calcite-chalcopyrite, bornite, galena, sphalerite, arsenopyrite and visible gold.
