Geological Summary |
The underlying rocks are metasedimentary rocks which range from quartzites to knotty schists on the western edge of the Wolverine Complex (Proterozoic). A carbonatite complex of discontinuous lenses includes acmite carbonatite which carries microcline, apatite and uranium-bearing pyro-chlore.
