Geological Summary |
Folded siltstones, sandstones and limestones of probable Lower Paleozoic age are in contact with the Downie Creek biotite quartz monzonite. Within the contact aureole the sedimentary rocks are metamorphosed and locally metasomatized to produce schists, hornfels and scheelite-bearing skarns.
