Geological Summary
Volcanic (Upper Cretaceous-Tertiary) rocks are down-faulted against the Sustut conglomerate and sandstone. Small plugs of quartz diorite and feldspar porphyry intrude the conglomerate. Chalcopyrite, bornite, galena and sphalerite, appreciably argentiferous, occur in dacitic to andesitic flow and volcaniclastic rocks.
