Geological Summary |
Andesitic and sedimentary rocks of the Hazelton Group (Jurassic) are intruded by quartz diorite. A northwest striking fault separates the volcanic and sedimentary rocks. Epidote and chlorite are within the porphyritic andesite. Intrusive contact metamorphic effect is minor including quartz-carbonate veins, minor pyrite and chalcopyrite.
