Geological Summary
The property is near the crest of the Silver Cup anticline which is a tight fold in the mafic volcanic Jewett Formation and the younger sedimentary (argillaceous) Broadview formation of the Lardeau Group (Lower Paleozoic). The Silver Cup Fault is a regional feature. The Great Northern Fault is a local feature which hosts sulphide mineralization in this area. Rocks on the property are cut by quartz veins containing minor sulhpide mineralization.
