| Geological Summary |
Ignimbrites (Tertiary) varying from silicified tuffs to soft and porous ash beds are overlain by a sequence of dacite, andesite and basalt. A thin layer of fine jasper and small veinlets of agmatite occur between rhyolite and basalt. The area is block faulted.
