| Geological Summary |
The predominant rocks are black fissile slate with calcareous, graphitic and pyritic shale interbeds of the Thompson Assemblage (Carboniferous-Permian). Interbedded with the calcareous rocks are tuffs and flow rocks of quartz latite to dacite composition. Gold and silver mineralization is associated with limy rock horizons.
