| Geological Summary |
An assemblage of chert, quartzite, argillite, marble and basaltic/andesitic volcanic rocks of the Old Tom and Independence Formations is intruded by a granodiorite stock and older diorite/quartz diorite dykes. The cherty rocks, marble and the intrusive rocks contain pyrite, pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite and very light chalcopyrite-sphalerite, gold and silver mineralization.
