Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by moderately to steeply easterly-dipping metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks of the Hamill Group Mohican Formation and perhaps Badshot Formation of Eocambrian to Lower Cambrian age. Rocks include tight to isoclinally folded intercalated sericite-chlorite-quartz schists. Quartzites and limestone/dolomite. Two zones of concordant mineralization include massive sulphides, as well as irregular pods and lenses of sulphides. Sulphides include arsenopyrite, pyrite, galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite. The sulphide zones contain high gold-silver values.
