Geological Summary
Carbonate and clastic rocks (Early Paleozoic) are overlain by volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Sylvester Group (Late Paleozoic). Black clastics of the Lower Sylvester Group (Upper Devonian - Mississippian) contain bedded barite. Sulphides in float rock indicate that this horizon may grade into lead-zinc-sulphide mineralization.
