Geological Summary
Hornblende/biotite diorite possibly of the Omineca intrusions (Jurassic) and volcanic rocks probably of the Hazelton Group (Lower Jurassic) are cut by swarms of red dykes. The principal mineralization is prophyry type chalcopyrite-molybdenite. A later gold-chalcopyrite phase is associated with magnetite. The red dykes are later than the copper-molybdenum mineralization.
