Geological Summary

Underground development intersected the Skonun (Tertiary) pebble conglomerate with interbedded sand, silt and carbonaceous material, angular conglomerate and argillite. East of the footwall fault a zone of these rocks is silicified, shattered, healed by quartz and chert and mineralized mainly with very fine free gold.
