Geological Summary |
The claims are underlain by serpentine, dacite porphyries and altered equivalent schists (Paleozoic age) that are cut by pyritic quartz veinlets. Nine soil samples returned greater than 5 ppb gold, ranging from 10 to 130 ppb gold. A weak magnetic high coincides with the highest geochemical result. Previous work is indicated by thirteen old prospect pits.
