Black shales, argillaceous limestones, slate, phyllite and minor greenstone sills and dykes of the Road River and Kechika Group (Cambrian/Ordovician) trend northwesterly. The area is folded and cut by thrust faults. Several broad iron sulphate and ferricrete crust zones occur on the property.
