Geological Summary
A varied assemblage of greenstone, basalt, chert, argillite, phyllite and minor limestone of the Bridge River Group (Triassic) are intruded by ultramafic rocks, cut by prominent faults and highly contorted. Some of the faults are occupied by quartz/calcite veins carrying auriferous pyrrhotite and minor chalcopyrite in brecciated silicified volcanic rocks.
