| Geological Summary |
Karmutsen mafic volcanic and intercalated cherty sedimentary rocks are intruded by several small masses of diorite (Jurassic?). Quartz-carbonate, pyrite, chalcopyrite and bornite are associated with northwesterly faults, shears and fractures. A limited geochemical survey did not indicate new anomalies.
