THE CLAIM COVERS THE CONTACT BETWEEN GRANODIORITE AND HORNFELSED BASALT, ANDESITE AND RHYOLITE TUFF OF THE MYRA (?) FORMATION. THE GRANODIORITE IS CUT BY APLITE AND BASALT DYKES. FRACTURING/SHEARING IS EXTENSIVE IN SEVERAL DIRECTIONS. PYRITE, PYRRHO- TITE, CHALCOPYRITE, MALACHITE, GOLD AND SILVER OCCUR IN A QUARTZ VEIN THAT APPEARS TO BE FRAC- TURE-CONTROLLED.
