Geological Summary
A quartz porphyry body is situated between ultra-basic lenses Attwood Formations to the west and Knob Hill gneissic to schistose basement rocks to the east. A late diorite intrudes all of the rocks. Pyrite and chalcopyrite are disseminated in tuffs and as concentrations of semi-massive deposits at or near lower ultrabasic contact. Gold and silver values occur more commonly with chalcopyrite than pyrite.
