Andesitic breccias, rhyolite, argillite and minor limestone of the Pioneer Formation (Upper Triassic) are intruded by granodiorite of the Coast Crystalline Complex. Gossanous bedrock exposed by old workings at Tenas Creek is an argllic or propyllitic alteration zone including pyrite, minor chalcopyrite and sphalerite in andesite and rhyolite.
