ROCKS OF THE KINGSVALE GROUP (CRETACEOUS) ARE CUT BY STEEPLY DIPPING, NORTHWESTERLY TRENDING SUB- SIDIARY FAULTS OF THE MAJOR TCHAIKAZAN FAULT. TUFFACEOUS VOLCANIC AND DERIVED SEDIMENTARY ROCKS CUT BY HORNBLENDE PORPHYRY SILLS AND MAFIC DYKES. THE ROCKS ARE AFFECTED BY COMPLEX FAULTING AND PERVASIVE CARBONATIZATION AND LOCAL SILICIFICATION AND ARGILLIZATION. MALACHITE AZURITE AND CINNABAR OCCUR IN A CALCITE VEIN BRECCIA.
