AN INTERBEDDED SEQUENCE OF MUDSTONE, SILTSTONE, SANDSTONE IS CROSSCUT BY NUMEROUS NORTHWEST- SOUTHEAST, AND LESSER NORTHEAST-SOUTHWEST STRIKING FAULTS AND SHEARS. THE SEQUENCE IS CHARACTERIZED BY PERVASIVE, VARIABLE SILICA, CARBONATE AND CHLORITE ALTERATION. PYRITE, PYRRHOTITE, ARSENO- PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE AND SPHALERITE MINERALIZATION OCCURS AS DISSEMINATIONS AND DISCONTINUOUS LENSES IN FAULTED/SHEARED ZONES.
