DARK GREY TO BLACK LUSTROUS PHYLLITE WITH MINOR CALCAREOUS BEDS AND LIMESTONE LENSES (TRIASSIC) GRADES INTO SILICEOUS AND ARENACEOUS PHYLLITE AND IS OVERLAIN BY STRONGLY FOLIATED ANDESITIC TUFF, BRECCIA AND AGGLOMERATE WITH INTERBEDS OF CHERT AND SILICEOUS GREY PHYLLITE. THE CLAIM AREA OCCURS ALONG THE NORTH LIMB OF THE 'CROOKED LAKE' SYNCLINE, A MAJOR NORTHWEST TRENDING OVERTURNED SYNCLINE. MINERALIZATION ENCOUNTERED IN DRILLING CONSISTS OF TRACE PYRITE, PYRRHOTITE AND CHALCOPYRITE IN ANDESITIC TUFF.
