ANDESITIC BRECCIA AND CONGLOMERATE OF THE HAZELTON GROUP (LOWER JURASSIC) ARE INTRUDED BY IRREGULAR BODIES OF SYENITE, SYENO-MONZONITE AND MONZONITE. THE ROCKS DIP SHALLOWLY TO THE NORTHEAST. CHLORITIZATION AND WEAK TO MODERATE SILICIFICATION ARE EVIDENT. ERRATICALLY DISTRIBUTED QUARTZ AND QUARTZ-BARITE VEINING LOCALLY CONTAINS PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, GALENA, AND SPHALERITE.
