Geological Summary |
QUARTZ VEINS WITH SMALL QUANTITIES OF SULPHIDES OCCUR IN SCHISTOSE ROCKS NEAR THE CONTACT WITH GRANITE/DIORITE INTRUSIONS. THE GOLD-AND SILVER- BEARING VEINS CONTAIN PYRITE, PYRRHOTITE, CHALCO- PYRITE, AND MINOR SPHALERITE AND GALENA. THEY GENERALLY PARALLEL THE FOLIATION OF THE SCHISTS.
