SLOCAN GROUP (TRIASSIC) PHYLLITES, ARGILLITES, QUARTZITES, AND MINOR TUFFACEOUS SEDIMENTS ARE INTRUDED AND ENVELOPED MONZONITES, SYENITE AND GRANITE. THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY IS UNDERLAIN BY ROSSLAND GROUP VOLCANICS WHICH ARE INTRUDED BY THE EAST-WEST TRENDING MOUNTAIN MEADOW PLUTON. NORTH- WEST STRUCTURES IN PARTICULAR ARE COINCIDENT WITH QUARTZ VEINING, QUARTZ FLOODING, BRECCIATION AND MINERALIZATION WITH ARGENTIFEROUS AND AURIFEROUS GALENA, SPHALERITE, TETRAHEDRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE BLEBS AND DISSEMINATIONS.
