BASALTIC FLOW ROCKS AND PILLOWED BASALTS OF THE (UPPER TRIASSIC) KARMUTSEN FORMATION ARE UNDER- LAIN TO THE NORTHEAST BY LIMESTONE, MARBLES, AND BEDDED TUFFS OF (EARLY PERMIAN-PENNSYLVANIAN) THE BUTTLE LAKE FORMATION AND A COMPLEXLY INTERLAYERED SUCCESSION OF AGGLOMERATES AND TUFFS. THE PROPERTY INCLUDES THE OLD THISTLE MINE WHICH PRODUCED COPPER-SILVER-GOLD FROM THIN LENSES AND LAYERS OF CHALCOPYRITE-PYRITE-CALCITE-QUARTZ.
