THE DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF DISCRETE, CONFORMABLE , ELONGATE PODS OF SPHALERITE, GALENA, PYRITE, WITH SECONDARY CHALCOPYRITE AND TETRAHEDRITE ADJACENT TO A WHITE MARBLE LAYER. THESE PODS ARE WITHIN THE MONASHEE COMPLEX, A SUCCESSION OF DOMINANTLY META- SEDIMENTARY ROCKS OF PRECAMBRIAN AGE ALONG THE EASTERN MARGIN OF THE SHUSWAP COMPLEX.
