THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY ANDESITE, DACITE AND LESSER BASALT AND RHYOLITE OF THE HAZELTON GROUP. THESE VOLCANICS HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY A GRANO- DIORITE STOCK. PERVASIVE ARGILLIC ALTERATION WITH ABUNDANT CALCITE AND QUARTZ VEINS OCCURS NEAR THE CONTACT.
