THE PROPERTY STRADDLES A MAJOR FAULT WHICH SEPAR- ATES THE OMINECA CRYSTALLINE BELT OF STRONGLY DEFORMED AND METAMORPHISED SEDIMENTARY ROCKS IN THE NORTHEAST FROM THE INTERMONTANE BELT OF SEDIMENTARY AND VOLCANIC ROCKS IN THE SOUTHWEST. ALONG THE FAULT ARE INTRUSIONS OF ULTRAMAFIC (PERMIAN) AND FELSIC (CRETACEOUS) ROCKS. HONEY- COMBED QUARTZ VEINS, AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS ARE ANOMALOUS IN GOLD, LEAD AND ZINC, AND MALACHITE SHOWINGS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE ULTRAMAFIC ROCKS.
