THE AREA IS UNDERLAIN BY VOLCANIC AND VOLCANO- CLASTIC ROCKS OF THE HARRISON LAKE FORMATION (MIDDLE JURASSIC) AND FIRE LAKE GROUP (LOWER CRETACEOUS). SEVERAL STRONG ANOMALIES ARE INTERPRETED AS REPRESENTING MINERALIZATION IN SHEAR OR FAULT ZONES WHICH COULD BE PART OF THE HARRISON LAKE AURIFEROUS SYSTEM.
