GREENSTONES, TUFFS, LIMESTONE AND ARGILLACEOUS SEDIMENTARY ROCKS OF THE MT. ROBERTS FORMATION (PERMIAN AGE) ARE INTRUDED BY NELSON GRANITE- GRANODIORITE AND CORYELL SYENITE. THESE ROCKS ARE CUT BY NORTH-STRIKING FISSURES. PYRITE- CHALCOPYRITE-PYRRHOTITE-GOLD VALUES OCCUR IN QUARTZ-CARBONATE STRINGERS WITHIN THE COUNTRY ROCKS, PYRITE-CHALCOPYRITE-TETRAHEDRITE IN SKARN, AND PYRITE-CHALCOPYRITE-GALENA-SPHALERITE IN HIGHLY FRACTURED AND SILICIFIED GREENSTONE.
