THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY THE TELKWA FORMATION OF THE HAZELTON GROUP. EARLY TO MIDDLE JURASSIC LITHOLOGIES INCLUDE SUBAQUEOUS AND SUBAERIAL PYRO- CLASTICS WITH INTERCALATED MARINE AND INTRAVOL- CANIC SEDIMENTARY ROCKS. THE MINERALIZED AREA IS UNDERLAIN BY CRYSTAL TUFF, LAPILLI TUFFS OR CON- GLOMERATES AND TUFF BRECCIAS OVERLYING RED TUFFS AND BRECCIAS. THE ROCKS DIP WEST-SOUTHWEST. THEY ARE INTRUDED BY PORPHYRITIC MONZONITE DYKES AND STOCKS. MINERALIZATION CONSISTS OF SPHALERITE AND CHALCOPYRITE AS BRECCIA FILLINGS IN EAST-NORTHEAST ZONES SUBPARALLEL TO GREEN FOSSILIFEROUS TUFFAC- EOUS EPICLASTIC ROCKS.
