THE CLAIM GROUP IS UNDERLAIN BY A NORTHWEST- SOUTHEAST-TRENDING BELT OF MYRA FORMATION SCHISTS. THE ROCKS ARE STONGLY DEFORMED, LARGELY ISOCLIN- ALLY FOLDED AND INTRUDED BY JURASSIC(?) ANDESITE AND FELDSPAR PORPHYRY. NOTEABLE ROCK TYPES IN THE MYRA INCLUDE SERICITE AND CHLORITE SCHISTS THAT COMMONLY CONTAIN QUARTZ EYES.
