ROCKS OF THE QUESNEL RIVER GROUP CONSISTING OF BLACK GRAPHITIC PHYLLITE, ARGILLITE AND DARK GRAY QUARTZITE ARE THIN BEDDED DIPPING NORTHWEST. TWO FAULTS CUT THIS GROUP, AND INCLUDE RUSTY QUARTZ LENSES. ALSO, METASEDIMENTARY ROCKS (LOWER PALEOZOIC) ARE INTRUDED BY GRANITIC ROCKS.
