Geological Summary
The eastern side of the claim is underlain by hornblende granodiorite (Jurassic/Cretaceous). To the northwest are magnetic tuffs (Tertiary) and volcanic breccias. Shearing and faulting occur throughout the layered volcanic rocks. The rocks are pervasively altered. Pyrite and chalcopyrite occur in disseminations and quartz-carbonate veinlets.
